Poppy was our very first dog.  We knew as soon as we married that we would like a dog and after much research, decided upon the Weimaraner.  We were put in touch with her breeder and waited on their list for a year before we finally got the much anticipated phone call that the pups had arrived and we could have one.  She was well worth the wait!  She still leaves a gaping hole in our household and still sorely missed.

She had a successful show career and gained her Stud Book number.
